The balcony with opera house view was a treat. Guest services manager Carolyn was patient and helpful. Staff dressed elegantly. Fabulous dining room and guests dressed appropriately. Best hotel for the price.

I was delighted to stay at this stunning property in a fantastic location. The hotel's rich history and elegant atmosphere truly immersed me in the essence of Vienna. The breakfast was a highlight, with its delicious and diverse options catering to various cultures. The staff, exemplifying excellent customer service, even graciously upgraded my room as a Starwood member. In terms of location, the proximity to major sights and convenient access to public transportation made exploring the city a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and luxurious experience in Vienna.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy tea and delicious treats, I highly recommend checking out Cafe Sacher Wien which is conveniently located nearby and just a short walk away from St. Stephen's Cathedral.

The hotel was in the perfect location, right in the center of things and close to all landmarks. It was near an underground station, making transportation very convenient. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast had a wide selection and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

The hotel is located in a prime spot, right opposite the Opera House, making it super convenient to explore Vienna's historical sites on foot. The metro station is also just a short walk away, with direct connections to the main station. The rooms, some of which are renovated according to the front desk, offer a best view of Vienna, allowing you to soak in the city's beauty right from your window. Additionally, the breakfast spread is delicious, featuring regional specialities that are definitely worth trying.

Breakfast was very good, great ambience of a Grand Hotel with history. Service staff, despite stress at breakfast, always quite friendly. Concierge and pages always very helpful.

The bathroom urgently needs to be renovated. Painting work in the room and WC would also be appropriate.

The suite was wonderful, and we had excellent room service. So while we lived in a luxurious suite, I felt at home because of the history of the hotel and the way it was preserved and still alive.

Actually, I whish they would not play modern music - not even music I might enjoy - in such a fabulous, historic setting as the lobby. First impressions are important.

Not a 5 stars hardly reach 4. faded and tacky. Awful water system. Hot burning or cold freezing but no middle ...breakfast poor .. more like 3 stars..shame !

We went to Sacher, for breakfast and asked to visit the rooms. We loved the place and promised to book there next time..The reason we did not because we read about work and refurbishment noise..That was true but once finished we will make the trip especially. We had treatments in the Spa, had meals and enjoyed their super breakfast.
